AndrewOnline Science : Unit 2

Floating things in the sink.

Q. What do you get when you cross an origami boat...Nick, Rob, and a sink?
A. ...a very wet floor, and paper stuck down the drain...

It started off, by me showing Nick that my little boat could, actually float.

this turned into...seeing what else floats...as you can see, the one-fold-stegasaurus does, as do the club wrappers...

However, once full of water, the boat soon sank.

It does, work as a quite a good sprayer...

Once it fills...

As illustrated with masterful photographic skills...

Science is hungry work...mmm leftover Yung Chow Fried Rice...

Alas, the boat cannot carry keys...

Rob, attempts to make paper pulp...out of the stegasaurus...

Rob is "cheap"...

...and so is the boat.

Nick's hands look...chubby, underwater...

Test 2. Do the boats rip when pounded with high-velocity water...?

No...so rob helps the process along...

What a lovely mess we made...

The "cheap" tap, that provided us with the water...

Making more pulp...

...before polluting the water, to make it more homely...

Look, a jellyfish...
